I think that around 20 minutes at varoma temperature (over around 750mL of water) would be sufficient, adding the prawns for the last 5 minutes. However, using the varoma, the bay leaf and peppercorns would be omitted and the milk used in the sauce will not have been infused with the seafood and vegetable flavours.
